  • Involved since 2000, the Network of Executive Women (NEW) has more than 10,000 members representing retail and CPG companies, with 20+ regional chapters.  NEW has successfully transformed women’s leadership roles in the food retail industry.

 

Vice Chair Alumni Relations, Board Member & Former Board Chair

  • Works with students and over 45 industry executives who support the Western Michigan University Food & CPG Marketing program to ensure an effective, current curriculum supports the sustainability of the industry’s talent pool. 

 

 

Chair, Global Retail Alliance Group

  • Led the retail voice in the creation of the RFID-based electronic product code (EPC) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Auto ID Center.  The Global Retail Alliance Group consisted of retail company representatives from various retail segments worldwide that provided retail perspective and requirements for the new EPC initiative.

 

Global Business Collaboration

  • Developed marketing and coordination of training programs in the U.S. for the UK-based easyEPC Ltd., which led to the successful promotion, education, and adoption of the new Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) based electronic product code (EPC).

 

 

Grocery Industry Business Development

  • Leveraged key industry relationships and raised brand awareness, which significantly contributed to increasing WorldPay US market share, while exceeding annual sales quota by 200% in first year as a National Account Executive.

Retail Payments

  • Furnished key testimony in support of the successful retailer-led class action suit while at the Food Marketing Institute, resulting in a $3.02 billion settlement from the credit card companies. Designed and implemented the first credit card system in southern California.  Participated on various advisory and standards development groups, including NACHA, EBT, EFTA and ISO.

  • Provided content and contributed retail technology articles to industry media sources.
